Book Fairs
Provides families with easy access to purchasing of books while raising funds for the school Media Center.


Character Education

 

Class Room Parents
Coordination of our Class Parent Program which identifies one or more parent in each classroom to help in the class as determined by the teacher.

 

Community Sponsor Links
Provides information to school staff and families about community businesses and programs that provide resources to our school through our use of their products or services.


Copy Room
Regular weekly support to our teachers through copy room volunteers who do this much needed work of running copies thus allowing the teachers to be spend the time in the classroom.


Cultural Arts
Guest writers, performers, and various other professionals visit our school at scheduled times during the school year exposing our students to the arts.


Environmental Improvement
Year-round efforts to enhance the appearance and functionality of our school grounds..


Fifth Grade Program
Planning and coordination of the 5th Grade Graduation Program at the end of the school year for 5th graders and their parents.

 

GEMS/ Terrific Kids


Health Room
Coordinates volunteers to work during the school day in the Health Room. Also maintains supplies as is appropriate and necessary.


Hospitality
Coordination of food for PTA Family Nights as well as for two Teacher Appreciation Luncheons, one at beginning of school year and one in the Spring.


Legislative Liaison
Follows current events bringing appropriate issues to the attention of the PTA as well as the school as is necessary.

Lunch Accounts
Coordination of school lunch accounts. A PTA volunteer is available in the school cafeteria on Monday and Tuesday mornings from 8:45 - 9:15 to accept checks to add money to a child’s lunch account.


Media Center Daily Operations
Coordinates volunteers to assist in the Media Center in shelving books on a regular, on-going basis.


Membership
Provides information about PTA and leads PTA Membership Drive in the beginning of the school year through mid-October.


Pathways
Creation and production of weekly school newsletter.

 

Physical Education
Offers support through coordination of volunteers to our Physical Education specialist as needed. Annual PE Special Events include Jump Rope for Heart, Presidential Fitness Testing, 4th Grade Bike Safety, Super Kids Day in April, and more!

Production and distribution of Student Directory.


School Family Nights
Providing families a night out together at their child’s school while offering access to information or fun in various areas. PTA general meetings are also held in conjunction with these events.

 

Spirit Merchandise
On sale during the school year to promote school spirit.

Student Tutoring
Tutor volunteers paired with students identified by teachers for weekly 30 minute 1:1 tutoring session.


Sunshine

 

Teacher Mini-Grants
PTA funds support of individual teacher efforts in programming and/or innovative educational endeavors.


Unicornucopia

A week of concentrated effort to raise school spirit, school pride, and fundraising with the main event, a Fall Carnival on Friday Night.


Yearbook
Layout, production, and distribution of School Yearbook.
